about moeMoe O’Hara was born in Syracuse, NY. She attended LeMoyne College in Syracuse and graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Theatre. She has done many interesting things since graduation including volunteering with Americorps in Colorado, volunteering at an outdoor center for people with special needs in Northern Ireland and in 2006 she hiked from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachian Trail with her partner, Matt. She moved to Burlington in 2005, and instantly felt at home. She is able to live in a culture surrounded by people who care about their neighbors, care about the environment and work for change. She uses this local energy to create recycled and upcycled art on an everyday basis.
